New pressure switch generation with excellent functionality

iF award 2009 for PSD-30 design

On INTERKAMA+, WIKA will present PSD-30 - a new generation of electronic pressure switches - for the first time. This innovative instrument has already gained recognition among experts: It has been awarded with the iF product design award 2009.

The new pressure switch convinces thanks to high functionality and easy handling. The 3-key handling with tactile feedback guarantees a trouble-free setup without tools.

An easy menu structure according to the VDMA standard and useful functions, such as an "INFO" button, allow intuitive handling by the user and a quick check of the set parameters by just pressing a single button. A large 14-segment display in robust LED technology with a digit height of 9 mm makes it very easy to read, in particular alphanumeric messages.

The compact pressure switch can be adapted flexibly to the installation site due to its independently rotatable display and M12 connection. Furthermore, the display can be turned electronically by 180°. PSD-30 can be delivered in several country-specific versions with regard to measuring ranges, process connections and signals. Therefore, it can be used world-wide.
